Aung San Suu Kyi meets DFID staff in London

DFID - UK Department for International Development posted a photo:

International Development Secretary Andrew Mitchell introduces Aung San Suu Kyi to staff working in DFID's Burma team.

Daw Suu welcomed the support of UK aid to Burma in a visit to the Department for International Development's headquarters.

Andrew Mitchell and Daw Suu discussed the future of development in Burma and the role British aid can play. DFID's office in Burma has been working closely with the pro-democracy leader since her release from house arrest in 2010.
